You may think I'm being funny, but I'm not. I'm dead serious. Let me explain...
You know how some people sleep talk or sleep walk? Well, at times I've done both. My sister said I talked in my sleep a lot when I was younger and when I got into Junior High I had a couple of bouts with sleep walking (the ones that I know of). Here's where it gets a little strange...
So, we all know that a person can walk and talk in their sleep, but what if the person acts out their dreams? Example:
A few years ago I was having a really intense dream. I cannot remember all the details now, but I know that it was a nightmare and it is one that I've had many times before...Just can't recall the details, but the feeling is there. Anyways, this is how I woke up:
In my dream I had an object of some sort (I vaguely recall either a Pepsi bottle or a bomb...take your pick). I also remember something hurtling towards me (like a gigantic ball of fire or something) and the other people around me (friends?). And so, I threw the object with great strength at the incoming object. That is in my dream...
In reality, I was lying on my twin size bed (with drawers underneath and a white head board divided into three sections to make little cubby like spaces. Why do you need this info? I am not entirely sure...) and in my dream, as I threw the object with all my strength, I clutched an invisible object in reality and also there it with all my might. The result:
BANG! OWW!!!!! I woke up just like that. In my sleep I threw my arm like I was throwing a baseball and hit it on the top part of the head board. To say the least, my wrist was bruised. My Grandma heard me scream and came to check to see if I was okay and, for the most part, I was. As I sat in the bed examining my quickly purpling wrist, I felt some pangs else where and noticed some red color...
Guess w-h-a-t? When I pulled down the sleeve of my long pajama top, I saw multiple bloody scratches on my arm. I pulled down the other sleeve and there were also scratch marks embedded into my flesh. I sat there astounded. I had no idea what was going on.
SO, I gazed around the room in shock and that's when I saw more! In the middle cubby section of my white head board were three or four long, deep scratches in the paint. I can assure, they were not there before. I called my Grandma in and showed her everything and told her my dream...she said that weird things always happen to me, or around me. True.
Now the weirdest part of all: Underneath my nails there was no trace of blood or white paint. In fact, my nails had just been cut the day before (I keep them real short. Cut them every 3-4 days). So, wouldn't you expect that if I had "sleep attacked" myself, that I would have remnants under my fingernails, assuming they were long or sharp enough to cut me in the first place? Don't you find it a little bit freaky? I know I sure do.
And now to the event which took place this morning (or I guess sometime during the night) which has prompted this very strange and random blog post:
I woke up this morning before my alarm for work went off on my phone. It's an odd feeling when you wake up before your alarm, isn't it? (Especially when you did not fall asleep until sometime near 1am and you wake up without prompting by 6:30am). I digress...I usually lay in my bed 5-10 minutes before I get up so I just laid there in the position I woke up in (an odd position actually. THIS IS IMPORTANT! I was lying flat on my back with my arms stretched out wide. SO WEIRD! I almost never sleep on my back or stomach...I prefer sleeping on my side...my right side...anyways...) As I was lying there, I felt extremely odd...something was...uncomfortable...I ignored it at first because I am usually uncomfortably hot when I wake up here (my Papa does not know what AC is!).
When I finally sat up I noticed what the problem was. My pajama top (I was wearing my long sleeved purple Chip and Dale pajamas, just so you can get a good visual) was not exactly on my body...It was off of me and the only part of me still in it was a little bit of my left arm. Umm...I was...uncomfortable? I don't know how to describe it. As I sat up and pulled my shirt back over my head I really could not make sense of anything...
The first thought that passed through my mind the was that I had somehow been sexually assaulted in my sleep by someone (unfortunately, it has happened before...but nothing serious...luckily I was only about half asleep...I woke up and it was over...boy, if he wasn't who he was he would have died! But I hate to kill friends<3). style="font-style: italic;">liked to believe that I was attacked by some manner of fae...I've read stories of similar things happen...but then again, most people don't believe in fae and so I have been forced to believe the first and most logical (if not equally weird) explanation; that I have somehow attacked myself in my sleep.
Seriously though, I want your opinion. Do you think that I attack myself while sleeping? Or that my dreams attack me? Or that some outside force/being attacks me? Or have I been the victim of harassment while sleeping? I honestly do not wish for the fourth option to be true!
Bye for now! じゃまたね!

Do you believe in Faye? :D I believe wholeheartedly in ghosts and demons (and the possibility of fae {mainly because I am one}). However, unless we do some sort of intense sleep study on you, we may never know about your case. I myself have had visions in my sleep. Seriously, I'm not entirely nuts, I have had legitimate visions. I have seen things happen before they actually occurred in reality (entire sequences of events). I have also talked to the Virgin mary a few times (but what nutcase hasn't?). If you are being attacked in your sleep, I'd totally believe it.
I have been having precognitive dreams since I was a small child...since before I can remember. I used to keep a dream journal and many of my dreams came true. Usually if I have a precog dream, the event takes place almost immediately upon my waking. Sometimes it takes a little longer but, oh well.
Virgin Mary aside, I do recall some occasions where I talked to "beings" in my dreams...but mostly that only occurs when I meditate and purposely seek out something. Though I've probably had lots of dream conversations that I just can't remember! ^_^
Fae/Faye/Faerie are something I always have believed in. Of course ghosts are real! Though most people don't believe unless they see. My family is incredibly sensitive in this and almost every member has had an encounter with a ghost and/or poltergeist. I am especially sensitive and things follow me around all the time. It's not scary...for the most part.
Demons...I don't really believe in...unless you are talking about really nasty faeries...because if you think faeries are like Tinker Bell, you must have lost all of your good marbles. Mostly fae are "good" they just play tricks and the tricks can be funny for them or life threatening for us, depending on what court they belong to.
Anyways...so you believe my dreams are attacking me, eh? I'm more likely to go with that explanation too. After all, fae can enter our dreams, so they could attack me via dream time. (*o*)
WOAH um Tiffany that's intense! OMG! O_O And i can't believe that someone tried to do something to you while you were asleep, and a friend no less! I honestly don't know what to think because I am rather skeptical of ghosts and stuff like that. =/
Lol! Niña I'm so glad you commented!!! Yes...I have stopped talking to him. Sexual Harassment is never okay, especially when one is trying to sleep! It has just added to my trauma against the opposite sex! lol. But don't worry about the ghost stuff. You will believe once you have an experience. I don't think anyone is born believing in that stuff. I just come from a highly sensitive family, so I've seen mysterious stuff since I was a small child. :)
And especially if that person is supposed to be your friend! Gosh that's CRAZY!!! You should write more about all the stuff that you've seen...I like hearing about that kind of thing and trying to figure out if there's a scientific explanation behind it! XD Write more, write more!
I will write more about the paranormal since you ask, my dear Ada Kennedy! lol. Combining two great women, awesome job! You are the same person behind all the fanfictions are you? :) The boy that harassed me...I had known him since we were 12 years old...yup
